Telly Renfroe

Telly Renfroe began his career as a United States Marine, where he was challenged to meet objectives above his level of responsibility and drive strategy forward toward the mission. It also required Mr. Renfroe to be a servant leader who is proactive, accountable, and communicative, and who leads with empathy. His ability to invigorate staff and transform processes and procedures to drive up efficiency and effectiveness is one of many intangible assets Mr. Renfroe possesses. These formative experiences transferred to his civilian career and provided a solid foundation for success. With a reputation for leading with precision, focus, and clarity, Mr. Renfroe is an executive who is known for implementing strategies that solve complex organizational challenges, lead effective change, and enable extraordinary organizational growth.

Most recently engaged by the Department of Justice, Mr. Renfroe serves as Deputy Director of Procurement Services Staff, where he leads all operational and financial management for the office. In addition to creating a diverse culture rooted in honest and open communication and inspiring innovation, some of the highlights of Mr. Renfroe's career include the following:

Leading the daily operations of Procurement Services Staff, including overseeing the awarding of billions of dollars in IT Service and Support, Data Analytics, Cloud Service, Enterprise License Agreements, Litigation Support Services, and 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund contracts, strategic direction of 4 divisions and coordinating effective communications and contractual support to 44 DOJ components to include ATF, USMS, FBI, DEA, BOP, and US Attorneys Offices. Improving systems and processes by tracking and augmenting operational process maps to reduce inefficiencies, streamlining activities, and leveraging findings to effectively manage and allocate resources.

Managing nearly 400 contracts with a value of $17 billion by motivating teams to optimize performance and developing partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Serving our great country as a US Marine for 20 years in various locations around the globe directly supporting the warfighter in matters of Procurement and Acquisitions. Mr. Renfroe served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
